Poonam K Pannu
Dr Poonam Pannu is Research Officer at The Kids Research Institute Australian in Perth, WA. She has a keen interest in early childhood nutrition, as well as diet quality in families and the mealtime environment. She is currently working in ORIGINS, which is a longitudinal cohort study following 10, 000 families to improve child and adult health. ORIGINS is following their cohort until the child is in early childhood, collecting data and biological samples from both parents/caregivers and children. Dr Pannu is a Registered Nutritionist, and completed her PhD in the area of vitamin D status and dietary calcium in chronic disease. She is a sessional academic teaching into epidemiology and biostatistics, public health, and nutrition units at Curtin University in Perth, WA.
